The YSSINGEAUX knife
Late 19th century this knife was made by Thiers cutlery Chabrol, it was then known as Laguiole and sold in Auvergne and Ardeche.
Since twenty years ago it is known as Yssingeaux, city of Haute-Loire, where he was then well known.
The Yssingeaux have a "Bourbonnaise" blade and a corbin shaped handle decorated with nails and very often bail, his forged spring ends with a fly as a Laguiole.
